Vehicle leasing, either by individuals or businesses, is becoming increasingly popular as a means of securing access to quality vehicles with consistent and modest monthly payments. For those considering going down the vehicle leasing route it is worth looking at the various schemes available. Vehicle leasing can be an excellent cost cutting measure if you're looking for a vehicle, and one you should really consider.
The most well-known vehicle leasing plan is contract hire. This involves paying a monthly fee over the contract period and returning the vehicle after the contract period is over. The monthly payments are based on a pre-determined level of depreciation and will include restrictions on annual mileage.

My boyfriend has a BMW Z3. I have a Jeep Liberty. Both are highly impractical vehicles. At the time when I purchased my jeep, I had already been the previous owner of a Jeep Liberty (which had been given to me as a gift), and so I was just continuing in a pattern of sticking with something that I was used to. The Jeep provided me with comfort and room when I made the long drives from North Carolina to New York and also had plenty of space for toting around groceries, sporting equipment and other things that I often wound up carrying around such as people.

When people start talking Hybrid, no doubt the first thing that comes to mind is the Toyota Prius - and for good reason. For the past 10 years or so, the Prius has ruled the Hybrid road. Not many other hybrids have given the Prius a run for its money, let alone come out on top. Other models either fall short in gas mileage, horsepower or price.

One of the most common car buying questions I personally receive or find asked on message boards and/or forums is, “What's the best car for a first time buyer?” It's a great question to ask, but it usually seems to be followed up with, “Should I go with the BMW or the Dodge Viper?”
The best advice I can offer in this situation is to look for the smartest car for a first time buyer and not literally the best car. Even customers with long and well paid credit histories are not able to purchase those types of cars and it's in your best interest when buying your first car to consider cars that you can…

When an automotive manufacturer designs and builds a car they have a lot of specs to meet up with. They have time constraints, budget constraints and company standards that all affect the exact way they design a vehicle to perform. Some features may be left out because the added cost isn’t justified or the manufacturer assumes that the average person won’t care about them.

This is an announcement about 100 mpg for SUV’s.
As you know, I have been writing about the new technology Dutchman Enterprises has developed for an enormous increase of gas mileage for trucks and SUV’s. In the past they had some issues around EPA approval and they were in a pickle to grow a network of dealers because the car manufacturers didn’t want to work with them. It must have taken the recent downturn and the almost total collapse of SUV and truck sales to get a little more open minded towards technologies available right now. Dutchman Enterprises send me the latest update below today, and I feel anybody interested in ways to reduce gas mileage would want to stay up to date. I realize that adopting a new technology that hasn’t been approved by any large manufacturer is tough.

For more information you may visit Anna’s blog, http://livingclean.com/hypermiling. Anna also has a Hypermiling E-Book available on her blog at http://livingclean.com/hypermiling/hypermilingebook.html.
Though the term “hypermiling” is a new word, the concepts it is based on are not new at all. We have just never had a specific name for it until now.
However, with gas prices reaching the extortion levels, people (out of necessity) have started to pay attention to how much fuel they are consuming.
And thus the word “hypermiling” has been born. The term “hypermiling” (originally coined by Wayne Gerdes) means, in simple terms, getting the best gas mileage out of the fuel you have.
